Ken Cantal: épisode 36
Précédemment, dans Ken Cantal (histoire complète: ici de bas en haut)
Vous êtes Ken Cantal, agent secret français formé à Vulcania, la prestigieuse école d'espionnage d'Auvergne.
L'heure est grave, ça tic-tac de stress : un missile vient de détruire le congrès du G8 à Sidney, tandis qu'une vague d'attentats à la bombe sale a lieu dans plusieurs métropoles de la planète, notamment à Shanghai où on vous retrouve après plusieurs péripéties. Ces attentats ont été causés par des pastèques, génétiquement modifiées pour contenir des substances radioactives, et qui implosent une fois déballées sur les marchés de primeurs. Si, c'est prouvé! Ces pastèques aux pépins fatals (mais brefs) ont semble-t-il été préparées quelque part en France, puis convoyées dans les villes cibles. Vous faites équipe avec Simone, une jeune femme qui "travaillait" pour un réseau international d'activistes francophones, le FUCC (Francophonie Unifiée Commonwealth Caca), au rôle trouble dans ces attentats. Simone semble désormais fiable. Arrivant sur les lieux de l'attentat à Shanghai, vous prenez en filature de fausses ambulances qui profitent du chaos pour passer en force... Vous êtes avec Simone au milieu d'une scène de guerre entre ces mystérieux commandos et les gardes d'un bâtiment officiel chinois.
EPISODE 36
Bing! Idée de génie! Vous attendez que Simone arrive à votre hauteur, et vous lui expliquez votre plan: vous allez ensemble zig-zaguer vers l'endroit d'où proviennent les éclats de rire, et là vous les attaquerez par surprise. "Ok", souffle votre partenaire.
1, 2, 3, go! Vous vous élancez ensemble...... et vite vous vous baissez comme un chacal - pour refaire votre lacet (c'est ce que vous lui marmonnez). Voilà Simone qui louvoie sur le parking entre les blindés, cible vivante! Sans attendre qu'elle se fasse repérer, vous avancez paisiblement vers l'entrée de la banque. La porte est ouverte. Personne dans le hall. Quelque chose est bizarre, mais vous ne savez pas quoi. Sur la droite, de nouvelles portes blindées sont ouvertes, parfois garnies d'un cadavre de soldat.
En fait, les terroristes ne doivent être que de vulgaires cambrioleurs, qui ont fait exploser leurs bombes sales sur les marchés locaux de plusieurs capitales, tuant des milliers de civils plus ou moins innocents, dans le seul but de faire diversion pour s'introduire dans les coffre-forts des banques!!
Vous vous enfoncez dans le ventre profond de la banque, jusqu'aux sous-sols contenant les précieux coffres. Vous vous repérez au bruit: c'est soit un dentiste, soit un groupe de cambioleurs bien équipés (dans le doute, vous prenez un chewing gum mentholé). Vous y êtes: caché dans un angle du couloir, vous repérez l'essentiel des terroristes dans une sorte de crypte métallique, parlant fort, couverts par le bruit de deux des leurs qui portent une tronçonneuse à métal et découpent une porte de coffre-fort.
Vraiment, quelque chose est bizarre. Ca ressemble de moins en moins à une banque. Il y a des équipements médicaux, des ordinateurs, des cloisons de protection, et plusieurs cadavres au sol portent des blouses blanches et des lunettes à double foyer, ce qui est rarement le cas des banquiers privés. Un laboratoire ultraprotégé? Qu'y-a-t-il dans le coffre?
